Delights of Night
Delights of Day

Waves of Mid-Night crash upon black beaches,
Quicksilver, pale Moons light, blossoms above.
Fire Flys fly far from where moon's light reaches,
But none too far from falling stars who shove.

Gently blowing wind, carries scents adrift,
Daphne, Wistaria and flowers more.
Ambiance grows lacking use and thrift,
All this and more drift back to our black shore.

Well once was black, now begins to brighten.
Luna setting, makes room for brother Sun.
In his Chariot of flames, the earth he whitens,
Creatures of the night, from Sun's light they run.

All begins to settle, excitement fades,
Creatures of Day come to shore and shade.
