A Letter Home

I, Fueja, prince of the Jaguar pack,
Taken from my home,
Sentenced by my brother
For being better than he
Sent with two loyal servants to the
Shoenbrunn Zoo, a
Detention center.

Naturally, we had to escape
And save the pack from my brother unjust
So with Rinoa to the left and Frupo on the right,
I posed sleep to make the spies and witnesses leave

We broke into the room
Where the girl was poisoning our food
Attacking with the strength of ten jaguars each
I, Fueja, bit her just as I have slain several prey before.
The spies ran, calling out the
Alarm!
While Frupo battled the alpha doctor

Alas, my kin,
We will not be amongst you anytime soon.
With the ferocity of our trapped cougar brothers
And the bravery only we jaguars have the audacity to show
We waged war with the humans, yet we were outnumbered
And have been detained.

I am still trying to return to you, my people.
Already, the bobcats have offered support.
Tomorrow, I plan to call to a far stronger beast,
A huge, gray, skinless breed of rat
Yet noble enough for a creature named Pixie the Elephant.

Do not give up hope
Soon, my friends, soon.
Especially you, my brother...
