Are you happy in Heaven
Is the bread unleavened
Does the light blind your eyes
Make you look inside

Do you look down from the clouds
And see our tears flow unbound
Do you flicker with life a moment here
On the anniversary of passing each year

Is God really nice
Does He treat you right
How beautifully do the angels sing
Do you watch us from Heaven unseen

Did we not treat you with your due respect
Did we somehow chase you off to Death
Push you too hard when you needed a rest
Did you ever think yourself truly blessed

Do they have cakes up there
Beautiful glories everywhere
Are you happy, free from pain
While our tears fall like rain

Why on Earth can't you come back
is there some virtue or gift which we lack
Better yet, why'd you have to go
Our hearts broke open, and the pieces roamed

Nevertheless, we hope you're happy in Heaven
We hope it's got things you loved: candies, movies, all of your brethren
We just miss you so much; it's just so hard to say
That we're somehow honestly glad you passed away.
