Erin woke up. She sat up and looked around. Her body felt weightless as she floated off the ground. Wait a moment-Floated? Erin turned around and screamed. There, just below her was her body.

Like the other bodies around, Erin's body was as limp as a rag doll. Erin floated higher. She could see a figure rounding a corner. Erin gasped. This was Alison, a girl she knew before she moved to Sydney. Furthermore, Alison was floating.

Alison stopped short in her tracks. "Erin? Is that you?"

"It's me, "Replied Erin. "Where are we?"

"Hello? Hello?! Is there anybody in this damn house?" yelled Freddy at the top of his lungs.

The floorboards creaked as he walked down the hall. It was bare and unfurnished except for an old mirror in one corner, there were spiderwebs everywhere, in the corners, on the walls. Although this place was creepier than any ghost book he ever read, Freddy's courage grew. He marched boldly down the hall, stamping his feet to cause attention and stopped short at the sight before him.

A mass of bodies lay spread out on the floor in front of Freddy. The room could have been a living room if it was furnished. The sight was just like the sight outside the house except for one thing-all the people had smiles on their faces. Big, huge smiles like if they had just won one hundred million dollars. Like they were enjoying themselves!

Freddy continued walking. He had reached the staircase by now. Suddenly, he heard a sound coming from upstairs. It sounded like wailing, but Freddy wasn't sure. Anyway, it was luring him towards the upstairs. Then, slowly, he walked up the stairs with a stupid grin on his face.

"Congratulations. You have gone s-roo all zee traps. Ond since you have been s-roo all zee stages, you now deserve to be a ghost."

"Wait! What about Erin? All thanks to you for setting that dumb trap. Well, I have been braver since the enchanting." Freddy trailed off.

"So I see zat you have gasered courage during zis trip. You deserve to have your friend bock. So go downstairs to zee place you left your friend ond see zat she iz a ghost like you. Now darling, sleep."

Well, it wasn't bad for Freddy, Erin and Alison after that. They actually had some fun pulling pranks and stuff on humans. After all, they were ghosts. In fact, it was better than before they became ghosts.
