A sleek, black hover car convertible soared up to a platform and parked beside a tall silver tower. A man about five foot eight inches tall stepped out of the car and walked briskly across the remaining space between tower and car and let himself in. He entered the lobby and was greeted by a few people who knew him and made his way to the top of the tower to begin his day of work.

After he was in his office he turned on his computer system and started to prepare himself for the day ahead. He poured himself an energy drink and sat down on his couch. He looked at his computers and noticed that no locations were on them.

Riger, where are my coordinates? he asked telepathically.

Good morning to you too, Gemini, Riger's voice came into his mind. Your coordinates are being sent up now. So far all we are going to have are imports.

What kind of imports? Gemini asked.

Heavy ones, Riger replied. I'm sure it's going to take the other Psychic Ones some major work.

Are they that hard?

Well, for them they might be, Riger admitted. But they should be no problem for you.

Why do you say that?

You're the most powerful Psychic in the known universe.

You know with the way Dictator Crone runs Earth that not all Psychics are known there. He believes the Psychics in Universal Psychic Network are the only ones on the planet. Since testing for Psychic ability is absolutely forbidden.

I do, Riger mentally sighed. How do they find Psychics on Earth if they don't test for them?

Most of the time it's some freak accident that brings it about and then they are trained to work. A very lax way in my opinion and not at all successful because Psychics don't always have freak accidents to unleash their gifts. They just waste all their talent because they don't know they have it.

The coordinates should be on your screen now, Gemini.

Gemini looked at his computer screen and saw them. Where is the import coming from?

Earth.

Great, Gemini thought very tightly to himself. Earth Tower Head Nicholas was very arrogant about being a P-1 and made that clear. Whenever Gemini came in contact with Nicholas's mind, he could read it like a book.

Gemini sent out his mind and made contact with Nicholas. Are you ready?

I was born ready, Nicholas replied arrogantly.

Gemini felt Nicholas's mind churn and then the release of the import. Gemini caught it at the meeting point and teleported it to his platform with his flawless perfection. Manual workers ran out to take care of it. Gemini glanced out his window and knew it was going to be a long day. Oh well, he thought privately. At least it's a quarter of the way over. He then made contact with Nicholas again and began what he had been doing since he was sixteen. Teleporting goods across the universe.

A few days later Gemini got a message from Universal Psychic Network: Earth Branch saying that they were being shut down on Dictator Crone's orders. It also stated that Earth would no longer be requiring the services of Psychics and any use of the ability on the planet would result in death.

Riger? Gemini called.

Yes?

You and the rest of the crew are going to have to take over for me for a while.

Why?

I need to go to Earth and see what this is all about.

What is all about?

Don't give me that! I know you read the message.

I did. Don't worry, boss, we'll take care of everything.

I knew my station was in good hands.

Do you want us to teleport you there?

No, I do it myself.

Very well, boss.

Gemini formed the only image of Earth that he knew in his mind and then teleported himself to it. He stood in the middle of a forest. He looked about and noticed that rough looking men and women were coming toward him bearing laser guns and other weapons. Oh great, he thought. Now I'm going to be taken prisoner by Crone's personal Psychic hunting police. Gemini stood his ground and waited for the band to make their way to him. If they wanted to play rough, they had no idea what they were getting into. And neither did Gemini!
