Black mist curls An exhalation

Expelling shadows from light Rippling muscle

Weaving patterns like water Accenting green tipped scales

Beautiful Half hidden in darkness

Terrible Claws scrape the rough stone floor

Hypnotic Sinuous movement as wings unfurl

Straining against bonds of air Preparing to take flight

Flickering slips of ribbon twist Across distant corners of my mind

Silent Inspiration for things yet to come

Inexorable His smooth voice calls me down

Ravenous My hunger draws me deep

Consuming my world in amber In amber reptilian eyes
