Rain pours down upon my face

It sings a silent song

Gently, gently beating down

But sadly, not for long

They're running down along my limbs

They make me feel so high

This is my thanks to the sensual feelings of rain

This is my ode to the tears of the sky

Come, oh come sky!

Cry a song for me

Let your lightning strike and your thunder roll

And let your song fall freely

Unto my face and inside my heart

Far out of reach for the sane

I'll be singing here with you

Singing the song of the Rain

And when you're done crying and I'm all alone

When your clouds turn to skies of blue

I'll throw back my head and pour out my heart

And I'll cry my own song for you

"Why is it that I'm so selfless

Yet I want everything I can find?!

And why is it even when I'm quiet

I'm yelling out my entire mind?!

I suppose that I'll never know anything

Until my dying day

For now, I shall live in hope and continue live so

That is all I have really to say..."

And when every thing is let out of our minds

And we feel so high

This is my thanks to the sensual feelings of rain

This is my ode to the tears of the sky

Come, oh come sky!

Cry a song for me

Let your lightning strike and your thunder roll

And let your song fall freely!
