A/N: You can say this is the counterpart of my other poem. I put them together because it seemed fitting to do so. Disclaimer: *groan* See last chapter. It's the same here and in all my stories/poems.

See last chapter for the more spread out look.

The World As I Know It

The world as I know it

A world that took a lifetime to form

Has disintegrated in a single moment by blows of hate.

The world as I know it

The ground beneath my feet

Has cracked and crumbled.

The world as I know it

That has existed my whole life

Is now immensely reconfigured.

The world as I know it

That has been my solace and comfort

Is now being rebuilt by love and hope.
