One example is The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. The fantasies written by George MacDonald also have parellels, and so do, I believe, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. The two that I wrote and have here are "Sophia," based off the book of Proverbs, and "The Lantern People."8/21/2012 #1 Report
I definitely love Narnia.
Also quite a few of H.C. Andersen's fairytale has a (more or less clear) spiritual point. My favourite is The Loveliest Rose in the World.9/7/2012 . Edited 9/7/2012 #2 Report
