Butcher Syndrome
Seven. That is how many the butcher has claimed so far. He mutilates horribly and is then gone like smoke. The police cannot find any leads, but then one delves into what shouldn't be real and discovers that the butcher may not be a monster in just the metaphorical sense. The butcher seems to have a penchant for possession, and he has just made himself it's next target.
