On temporary hiatus--hope to be back up and writing/posting by the new year! Sorry about the delay--yet another move, this time to a home without current internet access, and I'm limited to visits ti friend's computers for the moment. I *AM* still writing on EHE, Sister Moon, and Agape; so check back every once in a while--who knows, I might get something up before next year...

Hello and welcome to my page... I thought it was about time to update this little bio space yet again :)
In other news, the first chapter of "Errare Humanum Est" can now be found on The Professors' Bookshelf at The Sugar Quill! Kindly beta-read by the fabulous B. Bennett (who, I assure you, was on my favorites list long before now!).
As far as personal information is concerned, I am now a 25 year old perpetual student on hiatus (and if anyone knows a way to change perpetual to professional, let me know ) with an aversion to higher mathematics. I am also a bank teller (go ahead, I know you're sitting there trying to reconcile that with the previous statement on mathematics--don't bother, it's complicated). I write mainly in the Harry Potter and Horatio Hornblower fanficdoms. And if you are having as much trouble with the terminology used in the fanfic world as I did when I started, may I recommend The Writer's University Dictionary at http:///english/dictionary.html.
Where do I stand on the important issues? (No, not politics silly! Characters and relationships, of course!) Well, my opinions are the same as before.
In Horatio Hornblower, I am one of the countless masses that completely deny the death of Archie Kennedy. It didn't happen, it was obviously a mistake. I am also one of a much smaller number that have chosen to resurrect Wellard as well. It wasn't fair; he hadn't yet had his chance to really shine! So, I am definitely a Post-Mutiny/Retribution AU advocate.
As for the Harry Potter series, I am a pretty predictable shipper--Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Lily/James, and all that. My favorite characters are Fred and George Weasley, but I have yet to write for them. I enjoy both reading and writing Marauder era fics, and am a great fan of poor Remus. And yes, Peter Pettigrew will be in my Marauder fics. He was their friend once, and I can't leave him out, besides it is fascinating to see how he fell into the darkness.
I should probably warn you, I am a sometime songfic writer, I just can't help myself!
Thankfully, the Favorites sections are back up and running! I'm still going to take some space here to recommend a few of the fantastic authors and stories on this site (you can reach their work by clicking on Favorite Authors or Favorite Stories below):
You should read most anything written by Kittenmommy or B. Bennett, Strega Brava's Snape fics are intriguing, Giesbrecht's "Some Things Are Better Left Unknown" will make you cry-guaranteed, Ariana Black's "MST: Marauders Style-The Return" is hilarious ("Bad Mental Picture!"--'nuff said), Emlizanne's "Remember Me" is just beautiful (Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny) and her "Trusting In Secrets" is wonderfully interesting, Alphie's "From the Eyes of the Werewolf" is top-notch Remus fic--Remus' POV of PoA, Cairnsy's "Where Do The Children Play?" is a heartbreaking peek into childhood during Voldemort's rise, Mandolin's Buffy/Witchblade crossover "Sharp Edges" is gritty stuff with great attention to detail, and "Knight Falls in Smallville" by cameramandc is the best Smallville fic I've come across yet--bringing a young Bruce Wayne into the Smallville setting in a believable way. Followed closely by the AU "To End All Evil", featuring the slow redemption of Lex Luthor (only in fanfic folks!).
Go check them out! After, of course, you've finished visiting me :)
