1A Lesson in Empathy This story is part of a saga about the O'Donoghue family that I've had in my head for years. I have not gotten around to writing most of it but this episode practically wrote itself. It takes place during the time when ten year old John is living with his Aunt Mary and Uncle Cathal in their little cottage in Ireland. He has done something wrong and must face the consequences.
