Name Jessica ~ Religious Denomination: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (commonly known as 'Mormon' though being called a member of the Church of Jesus Christ is preferred.) ~ Current Avatar: A preschool photo of me that partially went through a cartoon filter. The heart and 94 on the right stands for my username.
Fun facts about me:
-My great great great grandfather immigrated to the United States from Denmark.
-I served a mission out of state for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 18 months.
-I've been working on my original novel for over ten years.
-I enjoy working with children; I've babysat for years and worked at a high school and an elementary school with special needs students.
-I love drawing adorable things :)
Why am I here on Fictionpress.com?
I want to get back into reading-I used to read tons of books as a teenager but lost that habit as I got older. I want to read the underdog of stories, and I want to leave long thoughtful reviews that will help motivate other writers to continue developing their stories. Also I had been thinking about posting my novel on here, however after giving it some thought I decided only to post a sneak peek. This is for personal reasons, the main being the phobia of my ideas and concepts getting stolen. My written works are very personal to me and mean so much as they have developed with me as a person over time. This account will mostly be used to review, although I may post a few short stories, memoir things and a sneak peek as to what my novel is about (To be honest I'll probably be more active writing wise on Fanfiction.net). I write because I love to, and no matter how popular or buried some of my works may become, I will keep writing and never give up, even when those writing blocks come along! Any review and/or favorite I get is just an added bonus :) If you'd like to read more about my moral values and how it's connected to the way I write, you can read the full writing pledge here.
To summarize, I try to write praiseworthy content and avoid the appearance of evil; specifically writing anything NSFW/Lemon/Pornagraphic.
Note: If I favorited your story, most likely it's on my 'to read list' and not 'already read' list. If I really enjoyed the story it will stay in my favorites even after I've read it.
