1 The Ghost of Josephus Daniels This short ditty is a respectful yet condemning nod to a certain ancestor of mine: a great and terrible man, who most likely strove to do good for himself and his own at an awful time in American history.

The Martian Convert In light of several recent developments (a few of them involving the endeavors of billionaire Elon Musk, and likewise the potential colonization or possible terra-forming of our neighbor, the red planet), I have written a brief narrative poem detailing the capacity for Catholic mission work on a human-inhabited Mars. This piece is somewhat of joke.

The Massacre at Potomac This poem is intended as a commemorative epitaph for Ashli Babbitt and every other patriotic martyr slain by U.S. Capitol Police on January 6th, 2021. With that being said, I leave this work to the court of history to judge.

The Dixiad Here is a national epic poem for modern America, a Homeric account of the U.S. Civil War, perhaps the true gory birth-mother of this vast empire of freedom. I present to you: The Dixiad! It is a true tale of long-told history and of prophecy, yet to unfurl the full breadth of it's warlike banners... of the birth of a Western imperium... as of yet, unfinished.
