3Family Secrets, an urban fantasy short story By The Three Rivers Bard This was a short story I wrote for a college course, also showcasing my novel's setting. It has some scarier fantasy danger and peril moments than "Night Train" and an LBGTQ romance, the cutesy sort, with a gay kiss. If that's not your cup of tea, move on please. It involves a college student discovering a mysterious coin in his attic before a date, and a steampunk robot battle.
