Why? A while ago I was re-reading all of my stories (those I have completed and posted, that is), and I began to realize just how cheap or ridiculous some parts of them are. Input from a few reviewers, a couple of emails and a glance-over by my friends has pointed out yet more errors or mischaracterization. Suffice it to say, I'm unhappy with many aspects of these stories. Some were written years ago and were posted not because I thought they were good, but because I just wanted feedback.
Now, I don't. Strange as it sounds, I've found that I really don't care wheather or not people have read and liked my story - sure, a pleasing review is uplifting, but after a while it fades and means little to me. I want to post stories that I am happy with.
Hence this whole, big, long, supposedly informative thingamajigie.

"Over the next few weeks" I said. I take it back. This will probably take months. More beacuse I have so much to do than that the actual work will take a great amount of time. I have no idea when anything will be ready.
This list will be updated as I change each story. I will also make a note on the story's summary when I have done so (that is, if I remember).
: My Emperor :
I don't particularly like this story; there's not much point behind it - no real plot. I've made it out to sound like a mystery, but it's not, really. I do think I've managed to write it somewhat well (though certainly not very well) and with a few changes I think I'll be satisfied.
: Mio'ary'ush :
This story, again, doesn't seem to have much purpose, and the way I've brought Padmé back to meet her children seems a little cheap - perhaps re-writing that part may fix it.
: Mechanics :
This one is actually alright - I may just edit and re-write some small parts.
: Amneisa :
Again, a story I like - there are a few changes I want to make, though; some bits I want to add, some to remove. It shoudn't change drastically - unless I decide to lengthen it.
: Healing Pain :
Not a bad story, either, but too long. I intend to break this into chapters and re-write (probably extending) parts one at a time. I'm also removing the "Arica" character - there is no need for her.
: Leaving :
My favourite! Not the best piece of writing I've ever done, though - some bits of writing and events I'd like to change. However, this is more recent and I'm more content with the story.
So anyway, this will all take a while. If anyone actually reads this and would care to comment - advice on what to change for example, I'd appreciate it. My email is just up there.
