Summary: Well, I have always found the internet to be an enabler willing to let me talk about myself, the things I love most, and to be celebrated for talking about it with panache and wit, not necessarily in that order. Being as much of an insomniac as I am, you will clearly see why I spend so much time here on the heavenly plane we mortals refer to as the world wide web.

Now that you are aware that I am happy to be here, let me inform you soundly that this profile/bio is a warning of sorts. I am a dramatist, a romanticist, and I express myself in ways the human race chose to ban three centuries ago. My mind is a mess of procrastination, univeristy papers, language studies, romance, books, energy drinks, espresso, wine, vodka, lime tonic, gin, and last of all, a sickly glaze of sugar that lays on top.

Now that you are aware of the chemicals that create the cacophony of madness that is my brain, let me introduce to you the outlet with which my mind shall speak to you after it is done typing, scribbling, crying, clothes-shopping, thing-throwing, screaming, typing, muffin-flavoured wax paper chewing, money-spending, self-starving, typing, face-palming, paper-crumpling, typing, singing, paper-folding (I made a hat for you!), deleting, drinking, sleep-depriving, vomitting, nail-biting (no, that's not true; I kicked that habit in favour of my silken nail buffer), scratching, self-kicking, self-mutilating, blood-letting (not really really, I just get really pensive sometimes and that transfers into my nails and...well..)...erm...in other words, when my mind is done writing.

Quotes:

" Perfection is like a confection, too much of it will make you sick."
~Calvin (guy I know)~

"Drink to me only with thine eyes
And I will pledge with mine;
Or leave a kiss but in the cup,
And I’ll not look for wine."
~I don't remember~

"Adieu, adieu! Parting is such sweet sorrow"
~Shakespeare~

“I have only twenty-six letters of the alphabet; I don’t have colours or music. I must use my craft to make the reader see the colours and hear the sounds.”
~Toni Morrison~

“Writing is a struggle against silence.”
~Carlos Fuentes~

“We are what we imagine. Our very existence consists in our imagination of ourselves. Our best destiny is to imagine who or what, and that we are. The greatest tragedy to befall us is to go unimagined.”
~N.Scott Momaday~

The Fruits of my...Crazy!

Caliga Lucis: A story I wrote when I was thirteen and the plot stuck with me in its raw state. Before you think it's like the rest of my work, know that it is generally border-line crack and the fact that I'm writing it just for fun, so we're not looking at publishable material. It starts with a prophecy about seven heroes destined to foil the intentions of an organisation called the Portafacio and a darkness that exists within the warrior hero circle that may, in the end, destroy them. I hope to post quite regularly depending on time and how long I can avoid the impending writer's block.

Gin: Picture a sunday night where I have a creative writing assignment due at ten o' clock the next morning. We all know how I am with procrastination. We carry an unhealthy, abusive relationship in which I come up with a story about a man named Tom, his love for drinking mixed with an unfortunate encounter with a sexually ambigious being. Read and show me a person who can write this on the spot, and I'll show you a mad, twenty-one year old insomniac billing for the right to an early, peaceful death.

A Coward's Wisdom: Since you've probably forgotten...I have ingeniuity and six months can change a person. Watch in awe as this revision takes a strange and devious turn for I am still in love with this particular adolescently-conceived love child.

Blossoms In August: Will make an appearance all too soon. Just let the finals disappear and...

Others: I will occassionally digress and write something new, just for the sake of venting my nearly nonexistent (at this point) bitter tears, soulful mournings, hallowed laments, and all that inner madness stifled from selling designer clothing at an extremely pricey store where the dirt of the upper middleclass shop. You should see my customer servicing smile. Its so bright and shiny!

Profile finished.
