I completely forgot about this story for a while (and the email account it was linked to) so I apologize to anyone who kindly sent me a review and/or PM that went unanswered. I appreciate everyone's well wishes. Unfortunately, my mother passed away from cancer since my last profile update.

On the upside, I actually decided to finish the story. I figure I can wrap things up in 5 chapters or so. Assuming FictionPress ever lets me upload anything.
