Well, what do I say about me? I guess I'm sort of a wanna-be-goth, though I never consciously decided to be . . . it's just the way I am. It's not my fault I'm enamoured with the colors black and red (which I want to get my hair dyed).

I'm fairly convinced that some people think I'm a vampire (which I'm not) because I hate the sun, like to sleep during the day, like the taste of blood and also have a rather unhealthy obsession over it. The obsession does tend to lead more towards gore, though. Mmmmm . . . I think entrail gore, and, subsequently, the samurai act of seppuku, are among my personal favorites.

I'm of average intelligence, or so the tests say, but not quite genius material (though I know some people who like to argue with me on that point ¬¬;;). I think I'm at that in-between point where many things come easily, but not easily enough to master them completely. In short, I'm a kind of "jack-of-all trades, master of none." Though I certainly have my limits. Like I have very little mechanical skill . . . and Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus is currently killing me X_x;.

Lemme think . . . . I like to write, obviously if I'm posting on this site, ne? lol I've been really writing since about 8th grade, when I actually discovered I just might have a thing for it. I've improved greatly since. I also like to draw, an ability I've been working at improving since my Freshman year, though I'm considerably less pleased with the progress I've made than with my literary skills. I sing half way decently, I'm not sure how much is real talent and how much is just being able to do it technically as it's written, though.

I've been a fan of anime and manga of years. Like many kids in the US I got started on Sailor Moon and Pokémon, both of which I've moved off from. It was through the Internet that I was introduced to the true diversity of the genré of Japanese manga and animation. Now favorites of mine include Yami no Matsuei, Gravitation, Fushigi Yugi, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Angel Sanctuary, Boys Next Door, and Ayashi no Ceres (though those are by no means even half of what I like).

I also like to listen to music, I find it helps set a certain mood sometimes (though just as often I sit here at the computer with nothing playing at all, like now, for instance). I can't really say I like one thing, because I've not really found a universal rule for what I like and don't like. It's almost random. (I'm sure there is a pattern, I just haven't seen it yet.)

So what's my winamp playlist like? Well it's an interesting mix of Classical, video game and anime themes, Japanese rock and pop, a little of the Russian group t.A.T.u., and various English pop and rock groups. I have am particulary fond of X-Japan, Adema, Evanescence, and L'Arc~en~Ciel.
