My Stories 41

Block and Line
It's not stubbornness. It is conviction. It's not rebellion. It is acceptance. No one knows me like me and no one can look out for me as well as I can. That is truth. You'd do well to accept that too.
Poetry: Life, K+, English, Family & Friendship, words: 212, 9/22/2016

Philanthropy Paradox
Complexity and conditions of care... true love... who even knows what that is? True love I don't know, righteous love I do. And I don't think many peoples ideas of true love fit into righteous love. Just my relationships. All of them, in general and incomplete.
Poetry: Life, T, English, Friendship & Romance, words: 475, 8/23/2016
1Division
Maybe a little political. More about the bullshit state of affairs in the world.
Poetry: Politics, T, English, Drama & Mystery, words: 153, favs: 1, 8/9/2016

It's Not Fair
Simply said... imperfection, imbalance, accepted because no better is known (M for swearing)
Poetry: Life, M, English, Drama & Spiritual, words: 446, 4/29/2016
6It's About A Girl »
Some girls are nothing but trouble. Some girls cause trouble, some see nothing but trouble, some are troubled and some just live in trouble. She was that kind of girl. And I was trouble. (A short Auto-bio series I plan on doing at random order. The 3rd installment is up as a poem. Rated M because the content is very heavy and I like to swear. Proceed at your own risk.)
Fiction: Biography, M, English, Drama & Angst, chapters: 4, words: 4k+, favs: 1, follows: 2, updated: 4/7/2016 published: 6/10/2015

Dogs of Darkness
It is about a life long struggle. True depression isn't something you ever really escape. You're just better at dealing with it at times. It is always there. And there is always the chance that it will come out of nowhere and drag you down.
Poetry: Life, K+, English, Suspense & Mystery, words: 300, 3/29/2016
2
Hole of Words
Reflection of a purpose, as a writer, as a mortal, as a human being.
Poetry: Life, K+, English, Drama & Hurt/Comfort, words: 175, 2/19/2016

Just Pull The Trigger

1
Power
Mortality and that which lies beyond it... that which is eternal, everlasting, and limitless. That which cannot ever truly be reached on this plain...
Poetry: Life, T, English, Supernatural & Mystery, words: 331, 2/11/2016
2
Implacable Love
(I couldn't decide where to put this) In a whirlwind of thoughts that cut into each other while simply trying to grasp the complex nature of what is every day relationships with ordinary people.
Poetry: General, K+, English, Suspense & Friendship, words: 142, 2/4/2016
2Resolve
Sometimes resolve requires you to change your resolutions.
Poetry: Life, K+, English, Mystery & Hurt/Comfort, words: 154, 1/28/2016
2The Essence of Wisdom
As opposed what is now commonly sought and praised knowledge. Ever hear about people who are very smart but also very dumb? Ever hear about a wise person who is not very smart? Intelligence... how would you even measure such a thing? (Bit of modern world bashing in here as I do often. But there is purpose behind that my friends.)
Poetry: General, K, English, words: 115, 1/7/2016

The Heart of Dedication »
Medevelish metaphorical piece. It's more about life and finding something to live for than it is about 'war'. It is about a warrior though. Mild rating. No swearing. Complete.
Poetry: War, K+, English, Drama & Spiritual, chapters: 3, words: 650, favs: 2, updated: 12/28/2015 published: 10/19/2015

Denial: A Home to Inhibitions
I don't feel like writing a summary, but I'll try to anyway. My usual free verse quatrain form and no swearing. Deals with reality and the consequences of not seeing it... Highly accusatory and probably hypocritical
Poetry: Family, K+, English, Drama, words: 280, favs: 3, 12/28/2015
3The Black Widow and Her Flies
Injustice and cruelty is little more than a set up. It's best to let it go when it lets you go. (short rhymed couplet - no swearing, no vulgarity, only a pleasant little metaphor.)
Poetry: General, K+, English, Hurt/Comfort & Drama, words: 144, favs: 1, 12/23/2015
1
Fire Extinguished
It's a little easy-flow poem about fire. And not. Not at all.
Poetry: Nature, K+, English, Mystery & Romance, words: 109, 12/23/2015
2Just another little rant
Building up off of my other rant on the issues I take of modern psychiatry I figure I'd address another more narrow and serious problem in our modern medical ways of dealing with the most common psychiatric problem there is: Depression. Moral of the story - Drugs Should Be A Last Resort
Fiction: Essay, T, English, Hurt/Comfort, words: 2k+, 12/18/2015

Do You Know What It's Like
To be incurable, unendurable, deplorable, and miserable? Or to know that you will deal with the emotional and physical consequences for the rest of your life? (Warnings: Abuse ref, swearing, and possible trigger content.)
Poetry: Family, M, English, Angst & Poetry, words: 469, 12/11/2015
