Poetry: Love, K, English, Poetry & Romance, words: 108, 6/3/2009
1She is the Sun This is a little piece inspired by the beautiful genre of bossa nova, particularly the brighter, hotter sort, describing a girl who seems to be made of sun and music.
Fiction: General, K, English, words: 350, favs: 1, 2/7/2008
2 A Very Long Night Another short story revolving around Kay and Prince Cerran. Kay feels uneasy in the night, and reluctantly goes to the one he knows can calm him: Cerran. On the way, he recalls a similar childhood experience and thinks of former innocence and simplicity.
Fiction: Romance, M, English, Romance & Fantasy, words: 2k+, follows: 1, 12/30/2007
Vicious Cycle A poem for Kay from Escaping My Gilded Cage about the rocky relationship he shares with Cerran. It's a pantoum. I just love writing this way. For now it's another simple three stanza, but I think next time I do a pantoum I'll branch out.
Poetry: Love, K, English, Romance & Angst, words: 72, 12/13/2007
Escaping My Gilded Cage Kay is the object of childhood friend Prince Cerran's affections, but feels stifled by the attentions and worn by the prince's immorality. The concerned queen arranges Kay a vacation in secret, but what if possessive Cerran discovers and interferes?
Fiction: Romance, T, English, Romance & Fantasy, words: 2k+, favs: 4, follows: 2, 12/10/2007
Decisions The options we have in reality can seem as absurd and insignificant as those in Alice's world of dreams. Rated T to be safe, for mention of death and pill and injury imagery, but it's nothing really bad.
Poetry: Song, T, English, Poetry, words: 178, favs: 1, 9/13/2007
Bastette Lionization for a 21st century cat goddess lady. Excuse the pun, and the title 'misspelling' is intentional. Read the piece and you shall see. I may edit this a bit later, as I think it could use more cat imagery and stanzas, but I like the basic gist.
Poetry: Song, K, English, Poetry, words: 147, 9/13/2007
Carrying At some point, all of us carry what we were never intended to bear.
Poetry: Life, K, English, Poetry, words: 67, 9/7/2007
The Underground Ina's society has been living underground in a giant metal metropolis for 200 years. An odd rash of damaging surges have broken out, and the reporter sees it all first hand. I'm not sure QUITE where I was going, but if people like this I may continue.
Fiction: Sci-Fi, K+, English, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, words: 1k+, 8/25/2007
Last Stand Again Some people just don't know when to give up. Then again they do say, Try, try again. This is a song and is written that way. I don't know that the rhythm works so well if you just read it.
Poetry: Song, K, English, words: 222, 5/16/2007
1 Dark World of Dreams This is a pantoum I did for creative writing class, which is the reason for all the repetition. This one is about dreams. I like this format so you may see more in the future.
Poetry: General, K, English, Poetry & Spiritual, words: 92, 5/3/2007
5 Skeletons A girl plagued by a dark presence faces the skeletons in her closet in an interesting way. But are the skeletons all in her head? Short horror story.
Fiction: Horror, T, English, Horror & Supernatural, words: 1k+, favs: 2, 4/30/2007
Once Memories and music go together.
Poetry: Love, K, English, Romance & Angst, words: 170, favs: 1, 4/22/2007
1 Ice Queen This poem was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen. I wrote it as ice as the word, to me, conjures a more unforgiving, solid personality than snow.
Poetry: Fantasy, K, English, Poetry & Fantasy, words: 362, 4/22/2007
1 Muddy Snow Snow will fall again one day.
Poetry: Life, K, English, Poetry, words: 187, 2/27/2007
1 Bloody Sunset Another Saccharine Delusions oneshot, this one featuring Bloody Bonnet. The pseudo Red Ridinghood sits upon the edge of a cliff to view the setting sun, pondering her past as she does. Teen for violence.
Fiction: Horror, T, English, Horror & Fantasy, words: 2k+, 2/7/2007
1 Ice Cream Ice cream is not the answer.
Poetry: Song, K, English, Poetry, words: 77, 2/6/2007
