Obsessively, for twelve long hours, he has been staring at the clock, and his own shadow, convinced that the two are conspiring against him. He is, of course, right. His shadow is very much alive, and whispers to him in his dreams about a power that he longs to take... but who truly owns his shadow or the power?

Ready Red Reverence This is my take on a "Little Red Riding Hood" story - to be updated very soon. Red Reverence always grew up inside her forest home, riding a beautiful black horse and taking care of her remaining family... but a vicious and destructive force is lurking beyond the trees... and it has a very powerful howl. ;)

Serpentine Queen A poem written as a sequel to Hypocrite: the story of Mona. As she summons a dark god against the men of the earth, she explains her motivations to become the Queen.

1 Hypocrite Mona is pagan priestess, swearing revenge against the men of earth by summoning a god to destroy them. As she sacrifices pigs to the becoming throne, she - rather unfortunately - fails to see the irony of her god's gender, or purpose.

5 God is Not a Republican I wrote this as a teenager as a stand against conservative Republicans hijacking Christianity for political gains. In my opinion, they are destroying everything that Jesus, Himself, would stand for.
