The True Look of Death
In the casket, our loved ones are dead, they look dead, but that isn't what true death looks like. The truth is much worse, before we in the funeral home do what we do. What we do to make our loved ones look like they are peaceful in whatever afterlife we believe in, is even worse than most people imagine.

Appreciation
I work part time at a funeral home. I'm graduating school in December and then I'll be a funeral director. This is a poem about one of my experiences. When my boyfriend read it he said it made him uncomfortable and I said, "That's my life."
