About me:
I've always loved writing - stories, poems...anything that pops into my head but left it for a while. I'm now back and excited about getting into it again, as it has been far too long.
Random facts:
I obsessively love music. I play the Electric Guitar and 'Cello. But not in a band or orchestra, 'cause I get major stage-fright. I used to, but the first time I played in a band in front of people, I think I actually stopped breathing at one point...
I'm hopelessly addicted to the US version of the TV show, 'Queer as Folk'.
I love cooking- and I'm not half bad at it either, if I do say so myself...
I can't fall asleep unless I'm listening to music, to block out all other random night-noises.
I could live in jeans...
Favourite bands:
Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, The Darkness, Stone Gods, the Goo Goo Dolls, Guns 'n Roses, Rolling Stones, Kings of Leon, Led Zeppelin, Velvet Revolver, Idlewild.
Favourite movies:
God, there are so many... Definitely 'Love Actually' (to satisfy the sap within me), the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean (three words- Depp. Pirate. EYELINER.drool), and Almost Famous ('I am a golden god!' Total rip of Percy...)
Favourite books:
The Lord of the Rings trilogy, '100 Years of Solitude' by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde and Homer's 'Odyssey'.
'Writer's block is sort of like being sexually frustrated... which is hardly ever enjoyable.' Ebony/Lelie
Author's Recommendations: I'd definitely advise you to check out my Favourites lists- anything I have on there is there for a reason; either that the story rocks or the author is a genius. lol
