1bubble oneword: bubble. i can't say one thing right. but isn't this just like always? if only.

1shadow oneword: shadow. i didn't want to need you so badly, but i couldn't lie- i missed you too much.

2glow oneword: glow. in a split second the stars crashed down around us & the black sky split in two as my world was reinvented all before i knew your name.

1puddle oneword: puddle. i was so afraid to touch you the smile on your face was so volatile, so rare that i knew it could turn into something as faded & hopeless as a butterfly in a puddle filled with gravel.

2curtain oneword: curtain. i could see the square of dim light coming in around the shape of the curtains & shining on your face next to me, & i knew i had to tell you the full truth.

4dust oneword: dust. some days i know you wished you were obsolete.

1elastic oneword: elastic. you always did admire resilience, but i suspected that it was a little on the wishful thinking side.

3stitches oneword: stitches. you thought your insides were so stitched up that no one could see in thought you were beyond light & sound or something.

4decide don't like this much. everything in my head is jumping like an electrical impulse from dendrite to synaptic knob in the nerves all over my body & maybe secretly there's some resistance, but it's not something i would willingly mention.
