I'm a 22 year-old student, currently living in Japan and pursuing an intensive course of Japanese language study. The Two Towers comes out here in March, I can't wait!
Fanfic is a wonderful way to procrastinate; my favorite genre is Tolkien (especially Legolas, Gimli, and Aragorn), followed by well-written (and there are few enough of those) Harry Potter, Star Trek, and other fics.
Re: my current fics - yes, I am working on "In the Depths of Moria," but slowly. Very slowly. I am, however, hoping to update within the next week or so; I've been on a writing hiatus since last spring, but am getting back into the swing of things now. My apologies!
