Sister Sacramento
An internal battle I had with that city. "Everything that's wrong with you is all wrong with me too." Much less edited and stranger than usual.
Poetry: General, K, English, Angst, words: 297, 6/12/2006
Red Asphalt Blues
Written out of boredom in Driver's Ed. Imagine some old person reclining on his or her porch on a sweaty summer day with a banjo in hand and you'll just about have the rhythm. It's rather repetetive, but I'm terribly fond of it.
Poetry: School, T, English, Humor, words: 197, 3/7/2006
San Rafael or The Product
San Rafael is where I live. This is it. (Rating for a "your mom" reference. Not sure if that merits a K or not.)

New Moves
"...Newly bought shoes and an artificial flower...Onstage, in a haze of sheet music and too-long hair..."Dance with me?" says he...New moves indeed." Odd tense changes going on in this one. Not sure I like the way it starts very much, either...

The Idiot's Lament
Take note of the changes in your life, they tend to gang up on you and surprise you after a while. Sort of a silly song about how things have changed.

Poetry: Love, K, English, Poetry & Romance, words: 179, 10/16/2005
Shut Your Piehole
"There are bigger things than this..." friends are great, but man, sometimes you just get mad. [rated for very mild swearing] really just a rant.
