Untitled cry yourself to sleep then, if you've nothing more to say, and sleep until the fog has rolled away... she knows it's your turn for a tempest. This is how I'd like to be.
Poetry: Love, K, English, Romance, words: 157, 3/20/2007
Your Grandparents at the Beach The title is mostly unrelated to what's inside except for the whole love thing. It's a little selfcritical but it's okay.
Poetry: Love, K, English, Romance, words: 149, 3/20/2007
Downpour Straight down pours the rainLeaking through my roof again
Poetry: Life, K, English, words: 108, 1/1/2007
Sister Sacramento An internal battle I had with that city. "Everything that's wrong with you is all wrong with me too." Much less edited and stranger than usual.
Poetry: General, K, English, Angst, words: 297, 6/12/2006
Red Asphalt Blues Written out of boredom in Driver's Ed. Imagine some old person reclining on his or her porch on a sweaty summer day with a banjo in hand and you'll just about have the rhythm. It's rather repetetive, but I'm terribly fond of it.
Poetry: School, T, English, Humor, words: 197, 3/7/2006
San Rafael or The Product San Rafael is where I live. This is it. (Rating for a "your mom" reference. Not sure if that merits a K or not.)

1The Universe Pops Like a Ziploc Bag "...and innocents sin, and sinners are forgiven, and everybody's living anyway..." I'm fifteen and it all feels crazy, but I think it's just the age.
Poetry: Life, T, English, Angst, words: 243, 3/7/2006
3The Window "shut the window, open the door...we will face the world outside the glass." Not sure about this one. It doesn't flow as well as I'd like, but here it is anyway.
Poetry: Love, K, English, words: 134, 11/21/2005
2Boy "I know a boy... I love this boy." gag-me-with-a-spoon sweet. sorry, guys, can't help it.

New Moves "...Newly bought shoes and an artificial flower...Onstage, in a haze of sheet music and too-long hair..."Dance with me?" says he...New moves indeed." Odd tense changes going on in this one. Not sure I like the way it starts very much, either...
Poetry: Love, K, English, words: 296, 11/12/2005
1Death's Lullaby "...come now, ye sinners, ye saints and ye babes, Death takes you all, treats you one and the same..." the soft, calm song Death sings. The tune of that... "lavenders blue, dilly dilly, lavenders green." Tad Christmas-carol-y at the end, sorry.
Poetry: Life, K, English, words: 242, 11/12/2005

2Mr Oliver A poem written about my advisory (advisory is sort of like homeroom, you're supposed to have the same one all four years of high school) teacher, wondering, speculating, about his changing attitude and behavior towards us.
Poetry: School, K, English, words: 293, 11/10/2005
1The Ballad of Trouser Pilot "When to preparation you pay no mind, the Trouser Pilot's close behind... Ever ready to fly your pants." We all owe something to Trouser Pilot.
