Ending I may have gotten carried away with the assonance in this one. I don't even know. It feels good to be writing a little again though.

1 The Eye of the Beholder I wrote this for a contest they forced us into at school. It came out short and sweet. About a kid who gets so wrecked one night he comes home blind in one eye, and decides to hide it from his family. The rubric theme was "Secrets".
