The Official Ficathon is a challenge thought up by McQuinn.
Participants have to sign-up and post a challenge they would like someone to write (the sign up form is on the site). After the sign up period end the participants have to choose three challenges they would like to take up and e-mail them in. When all the participants receive the challenge they have approximately two months to at least write 3000 words of their story. (For more information go here).
