Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to visit me on my livejournal; in addition to the short fiction and poetry here, I occasionally publish some nonfiction and novel excerpts there, and offer links to my published articles and blogs.
9/5/13: It's crazy how long I've been on this site: 7 years! I started as a teenager posting up old and new work when I was really experimenting with writing. Then, I returned on and off through the years to get feedback whenever I entered a particularly productive phase. Now that I've graduated college and my writing is more serious than ever, I'll be updating my work with revised--and final--versions for those stories that were never updated. The editor in me wants to keep revising... but I think it's time to let certain pieces go, keep them here as testament to how my writing has changed over the years, and start working on some new stuff.
Clearly, the older the story or poem, the younger I was. Please keep that in mind while reading! I'm a bit embarrassed by my older work (one story, for example, was written when I was 14, several years before its publish date--I'm 23 now), but I've deleted work once before and always regretted it, so it stays!
Currently working on: my fantasy novel, eventually a series of fantasy novels. I'm considering posting it/them here to get feedback before embarking on publishing, but after hearing about so many horrid cases of plagiarism, I'm wary of doing so. If you'd like to see an excerpt, you can find it here!

To All Reviewers: I have very good review etiquette. If you review one of my works, chances are I'll get a review back to you on one of yours, or at the very least send you a thank-you message that touches upon some of the points you made in your review. If I don't send either of these, I apologize--it probably just means I'm very busy at the moment. The only exceptions I make to returning reviews are: A) if it was a review traded for in the Review Game forum, although sometimes I do return reviews in this case if I see something I like; B) if one of my stories is a fairly big hit (like the story up on my Fanfiction account) and I have a lot of reviews; or C) if your review wasn't very substantial (i.e. "update!") and didn't really register as a review to me. Otherwise, it's fair game, and you should get some kind of acknowledgment for it!
A Warning: Steal and be sued. That's a promise. I scour the internet for plagiarism on a regular basis and I WILL find out.
