The Scornful Harlot
A song in an old-fashioned style I was listening to ren-faire-style folk music while writing this about truth in its treachery.

Substantial Independence
Rent is theft, utilities are theft, mandatory insurance is theft, etc. As if having to buy things that your society has mandated as necessities isn't bad enough, having to pay money to keep and use these necessities is absurd.

Complex Systems
Life is a series of objects arranged in a way that causes movement on a sub-astronomical scale; a mathematically predictable phenomenon - not even an anomaly, but an inevitable result of the near-infinite dispersal of matter.
Poetry: Life, T, English, Spiritual, words: 137, 1/14/2011

Grin and Bear It
Everyone thinks they're so happy, or claims to... not about any particular person. The line 'don't smile at me' came to me on the edge of sleep and I had to use it.

Penitence
I was thinking about some writing I felt sorry for, then thought about all the people I was glad to have offended with other writings and decided to write something humorous... though it kind of comes off as just mean-spirited and sad

NameError
A little piece written in the format of a Python IDLE interactive session, pointing out an error in Genesis... would look a lot better if fictionpress wasn't being such a c**t about the use of symbols and formatting...
