1 Rain Pours Down
Rain pours down from a dull white sky, not in drops, but in rivers. Water pounds down, soaking the dry earth. I wonder if the same rain falls on Manhattan. Or Los Angeles. Or Chicago. Or Santa Fe. Or if it is just me.

1 Night Sky
My world is black and white, the quiet darkness of night, with black velvet skies and silver pinprick stars. But the world outside is more complex, a violent explosion of color, far more brutally intricate than the simplicity of my dark and lonely sky.

My attempt to show that what you put into life is what you get out of it, using tears as a metaphor. 'A single tear falls, etching a salty track down a familiar cheek. Clear and crystalline, a single tear falls.'
