:All About Me:
Name: Lilian Leader
ASL: 19, Female, Washington State
Genres: Mostly drama/angst. A little romance, lots of philosophy, and some spiritual. Most of it's autobiographical.
Inspirations: Excellent music, interesting conversation, challenging people, and an ever-changing belief system. Very little is concrete in my life at the moment, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I admire: J.K. Rowling, not only because she is phenomenally talented, but because she is still humble about it. And giving, and out-spoken, and beautiful. I wanna be just like her when I grow up XD. I also admire my best friend, Nichole, for being gutsy and stunning and a constant support for me and my crazy ideas. And I admire my other best friend Larry, because he's flawed, knows it, and doesn't really give a shit - or pretends not to anyway ;).
:My Best Works:
A Message in the Attic - Prose - It started as a 100 word free write, then became a scene in my head that would not go away. I still tweak it every now and then, but it is my biggest accomplishment to date.
Broken Charade - Prose - This was incredibly difficult to write, and I haven't said everything I want to say yet. But if my story can touch someone else's life, it was worth it.
Even If It Hurts - Prose - A scene that came into my mind after a long, frustrating, and illuminating conversation. This is my favorite piece.
Heaven's Tears - Poetry - I wrote this on New Year's Eve three years ago. I still haven't worked out exactly the meaning I wanted to portray, but it's pretty at any rate.
I've Got a Theory - Prose - Thoughts on the biggest flaw in humanity.
Sad, Sad - Poetry - A lament for a soul too enclosed upon itself to accept the love offered to it.
:Current Writing Projects:
1000 Themes - I've got two! The original challenge was to write about 1000 themes in one year. I'm extending my personal deadline to about two and a half years. There will be an author's note at the end of every peice that is part of this challenge.
:Contact Me:
Myspace - I update my myspace blog more regularly than this thing. And, of course, there's pictures :)
Depressed, Unloved, or Suicidal - MSN group that I help manage. It's purpose is to help teens work through their problems through peer-to-peer support and communication. Plus, it's just fun lol.
LiveJournal - I also update this place more often, geez that's sad lol. I'll blog about random things in here too.
