The name's Brooke. Nickname me Bee if you want. I'm a redhead living in Snowy Canada. I'm secretly like a 9 1/2 year old despite my mature age. I'm a student, so therefore, I update irregularly, but generously. The game? Writing.
UPDATES:

One-shot galore. I'm slowly getting acclimated to writing after being off so long, and the result is what I hope to be more improved writing. GTIPEB is still being worked on. Sorry for those who are waiting. Thank you for your patience though!

Posting an explanation about my lack of writing in the first chapter of GTCIPEB. Don't worry though, I've been mapping out chapters for that story as well as SOS. Like I said in the chapter, I'm going to dip my toes in the water first by taking on short commitments instead of a story which is a long-commitment term. That means one-shots. Just to get my writing back into the swing of things.
As always, I'm appreciative of your patience, whoever you may be. For those who have me on author alerts, and favourited me as either an author or one of my stories, thank you. I hope that through this perilous journey you'll still like my writing after. Even if I take a long time to get to it.
One-shot collections will be up soon. Guaranteed!

Surprise! I've been gone for half a year. That's terrible of me. I have been working on SOS a bit though. However, due to a large amount of similarities surfacing between my old story, GTIPEB and "Zetta Kareshi/Absolute Boyfriend", I've decided, without further ado, I'll be REWRITING it. SOS will be on hiatus while I'm working through GTIPEB. I don't know how my schedule will permit me to update or allow time to write, but once I get into the swing of things, I'll be sure to let whoever's my faithful readers out there know in advance as much as possible.
"Why is she rewriting a perfectly good story?!" you may ask. Well, for those who are curious, frankly, I was tired of the constant comparisons between this and another fictional piece of work. But a large major factor had to do with the plot itself; in our day and age, robots aren't entirely out of our grasp, but they aren't just here yet. Plus, I was doing a menial job when the idea struck me. Working it out, I planned the story from start to finish, modifying quite a few major elements and a few characters here and there. It was a bit unrealistic to have a girl living on her own while her parents didn't provide for her in their absence. It was unrealistic for a fan club to be made and attended vigorously in person (I'll throw you a bone here, it'll become a Facebook group instead). There's a lot of modern things I can throw into the story that can make it a lot more realer in today's world, which I feel it deserves greatly.
If you're looking forward to the next year of irregular updates, welcome aboard. Until then, please bear with me as I take over the story and take down the chapters and repost them one-by-one. I'm not going to leave any traces of its ancestor (the first version) up here anymore, just because, looking at it makes me shudder when I think of how ameteur it is. I'd like to thank anyone out there who's reading my stuff, and for being incredibly patient with me. You all rock.
DISCLAIMERS:
GTCIPEB: Under revision in order to dispute the claims that it is similar to "Absolute Boyfriend" by Yuu Watase (manga) as well as to change the storyline completely. As far as I'm concerned, my story and this piece of fiction will become strangers once I'm done with it.
SOS: Some events are a figment of my imagination, indirectly, or exaggerated directly. Some events are also based on true events. Regardless of whether it's been exaggerated, imagined or true, you should not in any way, attempt it unless you are a professional or under professional supervision. Actually, don't even just think about doing it, okay?
