NOTE: PLEASE READ AND REVIEW "THE BOMB". IT'S VERY LONELY. IT'S BEEN THERE A WHILE, AND GOTTEN OVER 25 HITS, BUT NO ONE'S REVIEWED IT YET. IT'S MY ONLY STORY WITH NO REVIEWS. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF IT.
I guess I should say a little bit about myself. Eighteen, male, currently happily dating. I am a huge fan of postmodern/dada/surreal literature, and I think I've adapted those styles to write a lot of my own works. I discover more about that particular them every time I use them though.
I love reading and writing the stories and poems on this website. Honestly, they're some of the best I've ever seen. Try , the stories don't come anywhere CLOSE to the quality you get at fictionpress.com. So yeah, keep up the good work, everybody!
I admit I haven't reviewed everything I've read, but I am now trying to make a habit of reviewing as much as possible, because I think every story/poem/essay deserves some sort of interpretation. If you review my works, I will review yours :D. And I don't say this to get reviews... It's just a good strategy to find other authors. So when I review your work after you review mine, it is not obligation, but simply because I'm genuinely interested in the stories behind your pen name.
Marital Status: Happily Dating... It's going quite well in case you're wondering.
Religion/Philosophy: On paper I'm an Anglican, but in my heart I'm a searching Agnostic. I'm also an idealist, and a little bit of a Cynic. Religion is a fascinating topic to me, but I have no idea what to believe as of right now.
Political Standing: I'm an idealist, so what else could I be but a Socialist? World Socialist Movement! Wooh!
School Level: I dunno.
Major Influences: Let's see... I've borrowed a lot for my philosophy of writing from Philip Pullman. In terms of style, I love humor, surrealism, and science fiction. And so I must say that Douglas Adams, Kurt Vonnegut, Anton Wilson, Donald Barthelme, Philip Pullman, and, last but not least, Erin, have all influenced my writing greatly. In fact, I probably owe some sort of a tribute to every single author I've ever read, but that would take a while, and I've probably just unflattered enough people. Oh, and I must also thank life in general for all the inspiration I've gotten.
