Hello everyone! Melancholic Maiden here, which is basically self-explanatory. I've had plenty of experience writing on this site's "sister" Fanfiction.net, but I'm kinda tired of using other people's already developed characters and making up stuff for them to do in my own deranged little world. I mean, it's fun, but I got tired of coming up with plots and then just not finishing them. It's a waste of time, really. I am prone to writer's block, so hopefully switching sites will help get rid of it.

Anyways, I'm currently writing a romance called "Highballers and Wall Flowers", which is about a guy who thinks he's pretty much perfect and a girl who knows she's not that clash and end up somehow being a couple (I haven't worked out the details yet). It's kinda weird that I'm writing a romance really, I'm not that great at it. I'm more into thrillers, horror, drama, mysteries, supernatural fantasy stuff, adventures, stuff like that. But romance is cool, I guess I wanted to write something "normal" before trying to delve into some of those hard to write genres.

I've also got an idea for another romance (shock!) about a nice girl that falls for the schoolyard bully...thought that'd be interesting...maybe something about a chick falling for her dad's best friend... I'll have to come up for some more stuff later, I'm outta here!
