Wheelchair I was the girl in the pictures, the one on all the teams. I was the fastest, the best. I was prideful, stupid, wrong. Why did I think I could run faster than a car could drive? Always look left before you look right. You don't want to end up like me.

1 Dear Crush, This is in the fiction section because I didn't know where else to put it, but it's quite true. It's something I wrote last year to try and vent my frustrations about that guy that I couldn't get off my mind, but couldn't get up the nerve to talk to.

Untitled I wrote this in my freshman year of high school. It was inspired by Edgar Lee Master's Spoon River Anthology, which is a play comprised of monologues delivered by the dead citizens of a town called Spoon River. Not my best, but one of my first.
