Young people's voices are being threatened again
This is a piece of writing on the UK youth police commissioner's racist / homophobic tweets and the public reaction to them, focusing on attitudes to young people and youth voice. She lost her job, unlike other public figures who have made similar comments, and many people suggested that this proved that young people should never be given a voice in public life.

Sex and relationships education
In the UK schools have to teach sex and relationships education. It has to include information about HIV/AIDs and sexually transmitted infections - nothing else. Parents have the right to remove their children from sex and relationships education until the child is 19 years old, despite the age of consent being 16. What do you think of that?
