3 A Shipwreck Originally about a painting Vernet's Shipwreck , which depicts a struggling set of sailors crawling on a rocky coast after a wreck. In the distance is a glorious sunset and set of ships. Basically the poem tries to capture the feeling and sounds of it.

1 The Wedding Bell A villanelle about a bell, showing how emotions skew the way we perceive things. Somewhat short, mostly sad. Review if you wish, I'd be quite happy.
