Holding On For Life
They call it butterflies. I've always found that to be ridiculous, as if the tumultuous feelings that wreck your insides could be caused by small, feather-light insects. It feels more like a hurricane, more like an out of step marching band parading on your internal organs, stomping carelessly until you bleed. It's like a giant bruise, and I couldn't stop prodding it with a stick.
