NOTE: CLOSED DOORS AND ALL OTHER STORIES WILL BE TAKEN DOWN DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAVE BEEN PLAGIARIZED.
Yes, the plagiarism beasts have caught me, too. So, I will no longer be posting stories on fictionpress. Or anywhere else. If you want to know who plagiarized me, here's the link:
http:///urdu-hindi/closed-doors-and-open-windows-romentic-stories-t5271.html
Seeing as this is the case, I will no longer be posting anything. I will still be reviewing, but I've learned my lesson. However, I WILL be posting my stories up on my live journal. If you want to read them, add me on there (telling me where you're from and everything; I will not be accepting random requests) and you can read it at leisure. :

HEY!!
I'm an eighteen year old Indian girl named Shweta No-Last-Name from sunny California who loves to travel. Since I can't travel all that much physically, I try to do it mentally. I usually tend to daydream myself into the medieval times or the Renaissance or the Elizabethan Era. Maybe Ancient Rome. Or Greece. Or maybe somewhere far into the future. To me, my mind, my soul, and my heart are one. My body protects them, so I protect them by protecting my body. People at my school think I'm weird because I'd rather write or be around nature rather than party, get drunk, or get laid. I'm a very open person about everything, excepty myself. When I meet a person, they start out as high in my opinion. It's their choice whether to sink or rise still higher. To me, appearances don't matter at all. You could be the ugliest person in the world for all I care. As long as you're a nice person, we'll get along. What's strange is that I don't believe that I will ever fall in love (I'm relieved about that part, after seeing people who do fall in love), but I write about romance. My only love is for life. That may change when the right guy comes along, but for now, I'm not interested. I do not believe that I will ever tie myself to just one person. I'm a cynic but also a hopeless romantic. I suppose you could call me a walking contradiction, couldn't you?
Now, I'm here to get experience as a writer, and YOU can help. How? Reading and Reviewing. Yes, I see you guys hiding there in FP land, reading my stuff but not reviewing. I'm onto you. -pats binoculars-
Happy December to all out there who bother to click on my name. And to those who don't, Happy December anyways. It's so cold and rainy outside. My favorite! :D
Whoa whoa whoa. Talking about the weather on my profile? Boring? Yeah. Creative juices are a bit dry. My fault, of course. Haven't been cultivating them like I SHOULD. But, I'm back on track again (working on Closed Doors and Open Windows at the moment...and a few other projects).
I'm officially in college now, majoring in Biological Sciences (Wildlife Bio tailored toward marine bio, hopefully). I will, of course, still be writing (it's going to be a lifelong passion; I will never give it up). I'll try to keep you up to date on my college adventures (or lack thereof, as it happens to be at the moment...).
My Blogs:

Now, I will cut short with my ramblings and random temporary thoughts that will leave my mind as soon as I write them, and wish you the best of luck in wading through my profile. Ready? Set? GO!!
AUTHOR NOTES:
1/10/2010: I'm not going to be updating my stuff for a while, and everything is on hiatus until I figure out where I'm going with my stories. I'm probably going to be rewriting everything, because I don't think I did my best in ANY of the stories that I put up. Everything from the title, to the character names, to the plot is subject to change, but I hope that the few readers I have will continue to read my stories!
I'll also probably just work on one story at a time, and hopefully finish them all. Maybe I'll finish writing a story (most probably Once Upon a Time) before I move on to the next. So, no side-by-side stories. That got WAY to confusing for me, so I'm going to stop and get ORGANIZED. Yeah, an organized writer? Going against stereotypes? Chyea!
ALSO, I am thinking about putting my poetry all in one "story" thing. Not sure when that's going to happen, but yeah :D
3/2/2010: Okay, writer's block REALLY sucks, but I'm trying (really, I am). I have NO clue when I'll be updating, but the writer's block is ebbing away. Maybe I can get some writing done today. It's going to be a slow month, March is. English paper, book reading, annotating. But, I will find time to write. I HAVE TO. That is my March resolution.
3/2/2010: One of the stories are back. Already. Man, I really worked today (not much...just a prologue, but still, it's something!)
3/3/2010: Woot! One chapter up! -happy dance- Hopefully the rest goes just as easily (wishful thinking, I know).
3/11/2010: As April is apparently national script-writing month (Script Frenzy), I will be working on a script (yes, going back to side-by-side story writing--I couldn't help it!) Wish me luck!
3/22/2010: It's almost the end of April, and I'm no where NEAR finishing Script Frenzy -_-. Damn you AP Lit research paper .
5/18/2010: Okay, I am probably going to be taking down Fire's Glory, with no real intention of putting it back up again. : It's just not working -_- Maybe I'll come back to it after sometime, after I have more practice, but for now, it's coming down. I have a few other story ideas that I'm working with, and I still need to choose. Hopefully I can start working with one within the next month.
8/11/2010: As you all know, I have started on another novel (Closed Doors and Open Windows) and I fully intend to see this one through.
10/31/2010: Well, a lot of things have been happening. I've started University (woot!) and am actually loving it here! I was a bit homesick at first, but it's gone away now. Second, today's my eighteenth birthday! I don't feel that different though, but moving on. I am (once again) going to be attempting NaNoWriMo, and am looking forward to it so much! I will hopefully be posting up the story that I'm writing along with more chapters of Closed Doors and Open Widows, so look forward to that!
12/8/2010: Guess who completely failed an NaNo again this year. Me! Anyways, moving on. It's almost winter break and lately I've been being bombarded by story ideas (imagine poor little me cowering in a corner while the ideas all gang up on me, holding clubs and wearing evil grins saying "write me...write meeee..." and you'll get the idea). Of course, I had to absolutely give in. So I've gone back to my old habit of writing more than one story at a time. Right now, I'm working on three (counting Closed Doors and Open Windows). Well, two and a half. I'm not too sure about the third. So, look forward to that popping up here. Or not...I'm actually kind of iffy about posting my other novel up here...we'll see, I guess.
2/28/2011: Well, I'm doing it again. Taking off my story and starting it afresh. I can't help it! I had a sudden brainwave during breakfast today that completely changed around the plot of Closed Doors and Open Windows. Rest assured, that it will be back up, but under a different title. I want to thank everyone who took the trouble to read my scribbles, haha. It means a lot, and I hopeyou'll continue to read whatever I put up. EDIT TO THIS NOTE: AS CDOW HAS BEEN PLAGIARIZED, I WILL NO LONGER BE POSTING IT ANYWHERE ONLINE. Come to think of it, I'm not going to be posting anything online anymore. :\ Sorry to anyone who wanted to continue reading it.
MONTHLY GOALS (this is where I try to motivate myself):
March 2010: Restart Once Upon a Time (now called Fire's Glory). Hopefully get some chapters up -prays- This is also my FIRST ATTEMPT ON FANTASY. So go easy. I could do with some pointers, but FLAMES WILL BE DELETED. I'm just dipping the tips of my toes into the world of fantasy literature, and I can't wait to dive in :D
April 2010: Script Frenzy? Well, April's almost done, and guess what's not. My script. SO, I want to get one more chapter of Fire's Glory up before the end of the month. CAN I DO IT?? Hmm...it's a stretch, maybe, but I'll try! :D
August 2010: Put up a few more chapters of Closed Doors and Open Windows. I'm actually working on chapter 10! Woot! I have stuff planned for all the characters. Hopefully it works out the way I want it to. But, I think they have some surprises for me, so we'll see...
November 2010: Survive balancing college work, NaNoWriMo, my other novel, and good amounts of sleeping and eating.
December 2010: Work on the two novels (hello, you're on break, you can get some good writing done!)

STOP THE STEREOTYPES!!
A white man once called a black man "colored". The black man turned around and stood up. And then he said:
"Listen sir... when I was born I was BLACK "
"When I grew up I was BLACK, "
"When I'm sick I'm BLACK, "
"When I go in the sun I'm BLACK, "
"When I'm cold I'm BLACK, "
"When I die I'll be BLACK."
"But you sir..."
"When you are born you're PINK".
"When you grow up you're WHITE, "
"When you're sick, you're GREEN, "
"When you go in the sun you turn RED, "
"When you're cold you turn BLUE, "
"And when you die you turn PURPLE.
"And you have the nerve to call me colored?"
The black man sat back down and the white man walked away.
Put this on your profile if you hate RACISM.
Congratulations! You made it to the end of my profile!
One last thing, though. Yup, endnotes from Your's Truly :D
1/10/2010: Ohmyjebezus!! Over 100 views today! And just because I actually updated! I feel so happy right now!!
3/2/2010: I've deleted my stories (My poetry's still up, though, and my short story). They'll come back once I think them worthy enough. One at a time though. Not all at once. Like I said before, I can't do side-by-side stories. It gets me completely confused. I have put Once Upon a Time back up (under a different name: Fire's Glory)
8/11/2010: I'm starting college in September, so I still have over a month left to write, write, write. And, of course, read and review. After that, I'll probably be a lot busier (or less?). I'm really looking forward to going to college (UC Davis Class of 2014!! Woot woot!). I'll see, hear, feel, taste, and smell new things, meet new people (hopefully ideas for characters in future novels, scripts, and other things). Wish me luck!
