Hello, reader, I'm Keelin a eighteen year old word-oholic.
Keelin is my middle name...my first name you may never know.
I love writing and the adventures it brings. Watching characters and worlds come to life in front of you is pretty fun. So basically there are three general things I’m obsessed with: reading, writing, and music. All three are such great escapes.
Some of my favorite authors are MaryJanice Davidson, Kelley Armstrong, Jennifer Armintrout, Cassandra Clare and Rachel Caine. The list does go on but when I say it goes on it does… on and on and on. I seriously have a library in my room. It is getting ridiculous.
The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. All three books are insanely good.
I always carry a notebook with me to doodle things down. I'm an uncontrollable word doodler.
Music is amazing. There isn’t much else I can say without sounding corny. Inspiration comes from The Runaways, Florence + the Machine, Bon Iver, Gregory & the Hawk, Lady GaGa, Bat for Lashes, and many more. I’m sure this grouping will change by next week...

As for my writing. I’m currently working on Gather and Rainbows in the Dark. They are both works in progress. I wouldnt call myself a magical writer so... feedback is always welcomed! In the same vein... Not sure how much I’ll post of my stories because there haven’t been that many comment/ reviews. I know people are reading it (I love the stats charts!) but there haven’t been many comments. Thank you so much for those of you who have! The comments made my day. Thank you, thank you, thanks.
Oh and as stated above I love to read. And I leave my thoughts/ comments. So keep in mind I’ll check out your stories if you leave comments on mine :)
I think reviewing should be a big part of FictionPress, however most writers seem to be more into receiving than giving. So... in order to create balance I try to review everything I read! And I read a bunch... Don't know where this random burst came from...

UPDATE December 13 2010: I am late on updating. Yes. Fail on my part. I also have some news that I hope those of you who are reading GATHER won't hate me for. There will only be one more chapter of GATHER. I've been trying to edit what chapters I have left and decided editing it down is the way it ends best without leaving too much up in the air, but enough because there will be sequels :) Expect the update this week!
October 11 2010: Another chapter of GATHER up! And I have taken THE PASSAGE off the site for now. I'm going to focus on finishing this latest draft of GATHER and then return to THE PASSAGE.
September 23 2010: I finally updated GATHER! School has taken over much of my time and thus my updating skills have plummeted. I'm going to TRY and update at least once every two weeks. Hopefully. In other news I'll most likely be taking THE PASSAGE down from my account. Massive rewrite that I'm going to complete before reposting.
June 2010: It has been decided (by moi): Gather will be updated at least twice a week. The Passage, as much as I love writing it, will probably and sadly be update less often. Unless people ask for more of it, but at the moment I'm on a role with editing Gather.

So I've completed my first story Gather but have now moved on to the editing stage. There will be major edits but the majority of the old plot line will still be there, kind of. Keep reading and reviewing the old version if you haven't already. The comments help so very much. Also I'm always looking for supernatural/young adult stories to read so... review swap anyone?

I really hate to do this, but I won't be able to update for awhile. Due to the start of school and moving, Gather and Rainbows in the Dark will be put on hold. I truly hope when I do update again (which I will! I will finish the stories) you all will still be interested. Thank you to everyone who has reviewed, favorited or alerted any of my work.
