“The written word is all that stands between memory and oblivion. Without books as our anchors, we are cast adrift, neither teaching, nor learning. They are windows on the past, mirrors on the present, and prisons reflecting all possible futures. Books are lighthouses, erected in the dark sea of time.”

Hello! My name is Taylor Rae. I am a small-town born girl originally from Small Town No Where, Michigan. I moved to a very hot, very large city in Florida where I met my best friend and my soulmate (two different people, mind you). My husband and I got married, bought a house, sold our house and moved back to my childhood state, though to a much larger city.
I've been writing since I was thirteen years old (nearly fourteen years ago now... Gah, I'm old). Back than, my small group of friends didn't have much to do in our little town of nothing-to-do, so we began to read FanFiction. From there, we became our own writers, editing one another's stories and helping to form ideas. Not many of us write anymore, but it has become such a part of me, I'm not sure I could live without it.
