Wide open road to my future now... it's lookin' f**kin' narrow!" -Operation Ivy

Poetry: Love, K+, English, Romance & Mystery, words: 59, 8/31/2009
1 Rollercoaster
Fresh and new. Four part medley/song. I heard this song being played and sung in my head. It's too damn bad I can't play an instrument. Oh well. Note: I started High School this past Monday. Enjoy the ride.
Poetry: Life, T, English, Adventure, words: 136, 8/28/2009
3 Many Minds
Perhaps I think too highly of a certain group. What's bad is that I'm part of it. Oh well. You know who you are. NOT A CULT. School thing. Hence the category. Edited, for reasons unimportant; I hate being specific.
Poetry: School, K+, English, Mystery & Adventure, words: 87, 8/27/2009
2 Apocalypse
With my latest poems, I feel like a bit of a doomsayer. Don't ask why or how, but I got the idea for this poem from the song "Welcome to Paradise" by Green Day.
Poetry: Life, K+, English, Tragedy, words: 74, 8/19/2009
2 Paper Bags
The title is a joke. If you've seen the movie "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", you'll get it. Sort of. Alternate title: "Too Late."
Poetry: General, K+, English, Tragedy & Friendship, words: 67, favs: 1, 8/19/2009
2 End
Not to be confused with my other poem "The End." This one's a bit more ominous with a much darker tone to it. And it has a different idea behind it. Any guesses?
Poetry: General, K+, English, Tragedy, words: 27, 8/19/2009
2 Of Many Colors
This fits under too many categories.
Poetry: General, K+, English, Angst, words: 67, 8/12/2009
4 Crystal Castles
Crystals are easily shattered. I nabbed a few ideas from Coldplay's song "Cemeteries of London".
Poetry: Religion, T, English, Tragedy, words: 81, 8/12/2009
2 Dying's Deed
What if you were the one to tell someone they were dying? Death has a brother for that. EDIT: Changed a line to "It enslaved like a saddle and stirrup"
Poetry: Life, M, English, Horror & Supernatural, words: 119, 8/2/2009
4 Dying Society
Yes, I know the last line isn't rhymed.
Poetry: Politics, T, English, Angst & Tragedy, words: 61, favs: 1, 8/2/2009
1 Deception
Have you ever known someone like that? Note: I'm lost for words on a category, so I'll just put it in general.
Poetry: General, T, English, words: 95, 8/1/2009
2 Thwarted Escape
Outcasts come from government laws. Inspired by a dream I had.
Poetry: Politics, K+, English, Hurt/Comfort, words: 78, favs: 1, 7/30/2009
2 Last Night in Love
Or Last Love on Earth? You tell me. Note: Saw a misspelling, had to correct it, which involved me editing the file and re-uploading it. Sorry to those who reviewed previously. You can review again if you so choose.
Poetry: Love, K+, English, Romance & Hurt/Comfort, words: 61, favs: 1, 7/28/2009
