As a writer, I shouldn't get queasy when confronted with blank space, I should get EXCITED! But since this is your first impression of me, I'm feeling the pressure... Like me!

For starters, I love trivia. I have these useless pieces of information floating around in my head from films to literature to music that sometimes spill onto the page and into my stories. I'm a hopeless pop culture dork! But if at any time my allusions start getting weird, tell me. I don't want to alienate anyone.

I'm a mixed kid, and to me it makes sense to show relationships I know more about, which are interracial ones, but I don't like to center stories only around the race of the characters. I like to personalize them in other ways. Besides, making complex characters is fuuuuun.

With that, I leave you to reading my stories; I hope you enjoy them! Also, check out some of my favorites. Those girls are gifted writers!

June 22, 2010: Wow! I've been gone for almost a year! I just finished my senior year in school, and boy does time fly! Every weekend I promised to come back to FP, and every time something came up. Be it research papers, orchestra, MUN, debate. Sooo busy. But it's over now and I'm back. I'm thinking about changing Once a bit and making it more fluid. I just wasn't feeling it as a whole. Hope no one minds.

So Good To Be Back!

Once There Was A Fish: June 22, 2010

Brief history: Eloise hates Guy. To her, he's the most arrogant, self-centered, egotistical piece of work she has ever meet! But when her art instructor assigns these two as partners for the big end-of-the-year project, they have to find a way to get along long enough to finish their project. Can they do it? Or will it be a disaster waiting to happen? It's the classic boy-meets-girl story! Minus the cheesy set-up and glaring grammatical errors. Interracial but Not Emphasized...R&R!
