She has recurring dreams of a woman drowning and thinks she knows her. While putting a puzzle together trapped and unable to escape, she realizes her whole life is a lie. Loneliness A girl suffering from mental illness struggles to articulate her thoughts and feeling perpetually lonely. I wrote this circa 2010 in my early twenties. There are poetic devices used to describe the life of a young woman mixed with real world circumstances. So it's a bit surreal.

Silent Suffering Good and evil fights for the fragile mind of a mentally ill girl who no longer believes in religion. Rhyming poem. I wrote this in my early twenties. Real misery seeps from these words. I'm an atheist by the way. I was so miserable in church and would cry on Sunday when I came home. I felt so much better when I left and realized I never believed in God or Christianity.
