I am currently 19 and male. I write about mostly anything I find cool and have sufficiant knowledge about. Which ain't as much as I would like it too be. I love crossovers and is rapidly developing a serious obsession for various Anime/Manga.
I plan on becoming a proffesional author/manga artist/bladesmith/martial artist/master swordfighter, if I get around to it.
Not much on this account right now, but wait until I get my Kanshisha-stories going. Which I will. Eventually. ^^*
Places worth checking out:
: Basically a for artists. This place is huge and shock-full of fantasy and sci-fi art. Though the quality goes up and down, this place has some *insanely* skilled people if you know where to look for them.
: You need a name? Does it have to be Japanese? Or Russian? Tired of using the same old ones? Want something out of the ordinary? Then check this out! They have LOTS of names, sorted in categories! And you get a free personality as a bonus! Yay!
: MegaTokyo is an online comic/manga about two American gamers trapped in Tokyo. Thought it is mainly played for humour, it has a fascinating, well-hidden but moving plot full of romance and emotions, not to mention a set of wonderful characters. I found it very hard to stop reading once I started, and kept thinking "One more page!" I recommend it to anyone who likes manga, even if you try to avoid gamers.
Or as L33t Master Largo (one of the main characters) would have said: "Diz m4ng4 iz l33t! P4y homm4ge to itz kewlnez!"
: Shock-full of online comics. Most of which kick ass.
: Free manga! Rob does a fabulous job on translations and the scans are of the best quality I've ever seen. Make sure to check out "Mikazuchi Den" and "Sirius Scars." They rule. EDIT: HE'S TAKING EVERYTHING DOWN! READ IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
: Lots and lots of kick-arse manga, free for downloading! This is where I get most of my material these days.
