Shivering
She didn't even know my friends had turned their backs on me when she said I was abandoned. But pain has a funny way of numbing out a warmed heart.

He Exists
But He will only reveal Himself to you when you seek Him out first. As soon as you take that baby step in His direction you will be completely enveloped in a whole other world. One that you didn't think was possible.

I am Death
The Death Penalty.. what would be going through your mind if you knew you were about to be murdered in just a few hours? My dad works death row and has told me about the prisoners blank stares and sometimes erratic behavior. How would you act? I think it would go something like this...

Smiling
He's in the hospital and my dreams are pinned to the floor. But somehow, smiles still dance on my face and laughter still rings from my heart because what's life if not lived within the darkest hours?

Leaving
If I fall and hurt myself, would you know how to fix me? If I went and lost myself, would you know where to find me? If I forgot who I am, would you remind me? Because without you things go hazy. (Hazy by Rosi Golan)

Flubbed Up Limitations
Based on true testimonies. We will never understand why bad things happen to ourselves and others, but we can always allow these things to work to our advantage and give us some perspective as we struggle to take care of ourselves and take care of those around us. It's an easy read, not very long and is more like a poem than a story. Enjoy.

So Much for a Good Time
That moment when your emotions turn bitter in a moment that's sweet for everyone else. An old-ish poem that I wrote. Haven't posted in a while and felt like maybe some old stuff would inspire something new.
