"A Perfect Day for Bananafish" by J.D. Salinger is a story originally published in the January 31, 1948 issue of The New Yorker. Some army veteran guy who was recently discharged from Army hospital and his wife have gone on holiday to the beach. She's on the phone to her mother chattering nonsensicals and about his various odd symptoms. He goes down to the beach and tells some random little girl about the bananafish who live on bananas and have little feeding holes in the sand. Then he goes back up to the hotel room, takes the gun he packed out of his suitcase and shoots himself. The end.

I like writing although i have an odd inhibition which makes me only able to write pages full every few months; if I were forced to write again after such a short time when I've lost interest again it would be absolutely shit which is why if I ever do publish something on here, it most probably will not be finished for a very long time if ever, depending on how high it's potential is for an in depth and complicated storyline. If I were ever given a good idea for a story, I might make something of it.
