An archaeologist is the best husband a woman can have. The older she gets the more interested he is in her – Agatha Christie

Hello.

Take a second and smile.

Depending on how fast you read, you just happen to have got so many moments closer to your death. Smile again, it’s worth it.

God, I’m such a morbid creep.

Name is irrelevant, but I am a seventeen year old girl living in the dusty depths of London City. Writing makes me feel content. Reading makes me feel a whole range of emotions. After all the shit I’ve read, it makes me feel old and wise – like I’ve travelled the world, met all the different types of people there are to meet, solved mysteries and become famous and fell in love with more beautiful boys than physically imaginable.

I am uproariously impatient. I’ve been told that I’m loud and violent – I laugh, cry and swear far too easily. I like to eat, jam out on my air guitar in front of an imaginary crowd of thousands, make videos, watch funny films and laugh til’ I cry, dance (knowing I look like an idiot) and readreadread/writewritewrite.

I like people to see what I do. When I do art, I enjoy the praise that comes with it when I show it to my friends or family. When I make videos, I put them up so people can watch them and comment on them. Writing is the one thing I don’t share with anyone. It’s simply for me. My friends and family have never read anything I’ve written.

Kiwi is my favourite fruit. Yellow is my favourite colour.

I hate confrontation. I hate people who lie.

I’m terrified of death.

I think humans are stupid creatures. They think far too highly of themselves.

I admire people who are religious, but I can’t bring myself to believe in God.

I’m a hopeless romantic.

My parents are the most amazing people I’ve ever known.

There are three things I want to do before I die: Fall in love, Mother a family of noisy, constantly-hungry kids (much like myself) and get a hefty novel published and held out to the world to read.

Thank you for looking me up. You’re great.

By the way... smile. Just one more time.
